Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of UCI identity services, authentication protocols, and access management infrastructure.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or utilizing any UCI services, authentication protocols, or identity management infrastructure, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Operator," or "Entity") and Unified Citizen Identification ("UCI," "we," or "our").

If you are accessing our services on behalf of a corporate entity, governmental body, or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms. Access to our identity verification systems, OAuth2 services, and authentication infrastructure requires full compliance with all applicable regulations and these Terms of Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

UCI provides identity and authentication services including but not limited to:

  • OAuth2 Authentication - Secure authorization and token management
  • Identity Verification - Multi-factor authentication and passkey support
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) - Unified access across connected applications
  • API Access Management - Secure resource protection and scope-based authorization
  • Session Management - Secure session handling and device tracking

Service availability is subject to maintenance schedules and infrastructure requirements. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice to affected parties.

3. USER OBLIGATIONS

Users of UCI services agree to:

  • Maintain accurate and current account information
  • Use services only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to interfere with, compromise, or reverse-engineer proprietary systems
  • Report any security vulnerabilities to UCI Security Division
  • Protect authentication credentials and not share access tokens
  • Comply with all rate limits and usage guidelines
  • Not use services for activities that may endanger system integrity

Violation of these obligations may result in immediate service termination and reporting to appropriate authorities.

4. DATA TRANSMISSION & STORAGE

All data transmitted through UCI infrastructure is subject to encryption protocols. Users acknowledge that:

  • Authentication logs may be retained for operational and security purposes
  • Session data is stored securely and subject to retention policies
  • Identity information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Data storage is distributed and redundant across secure infrastructure

Users retain ownership of their data but grant UCI a limited license to process such data as necessary to provide services.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

UCI PROVIDES SERVICES "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UCI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

UCI shall not be liable for:

  • Service interruptions due to maintenance or infrastructure issues
  • Authentication delays resulting from network conditions
  • Third-party interference or unauthorized access attempts
  • Damages arising from user misuse or credential compromise

Maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by User in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate this agreement with thirty (30) days written notice. UCI reserves the right to immediately terminate services without notice in cases of:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Non-payment of service fees
  • Activities endangering UCI infrastructure or other users
  • Compliance with legal orders or regulatory directives
  • Compromise of security credentials or access protocols

Upon termination, Users must cease all use of UCI services and associated credentials.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

Users operating in jurisdictions with additional regulatory requirements acknowledge that compliance with such regulations is the User's responsibility.

8. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

UCI reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through official channels with a minimum of fourteen (14) days notice before taking effect.

Continued use of services after modifications become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Users who do not agree to modified terms must discontinue service use and may request account closure.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

This document constitutes a binding legal agreement. By activating any UCI service or accessing our infrastructure, you acknowledge full understanding and acceptance of all terms contained herein. For questions or clarifications, contact our support team.
